We make top-quality, fully customized made-to-order builds of vintage "tweed" guitar amplifiers. Our mission is to create the highest quality offering on the market, using only the best parts. These are made with higher quality and more expensive components than the "kits" on the market, or even the big brand offering at the a large guitar store chain.
Specifically, we make the 5F1 (Champ) in 8", 10", & 12" speaker/combo cabinet, 5F2-A (Princeton) in 10" & 12" speaker/combo, and the 5E3 (Deluxe) in a 12" speaker/combo, and offer options for nearly every detail including circuit modification, transformer selection, design changes, and more.
We include the speaker of your choice-- no more speaker swapping! All our amps come with Jensen ceramic speakers stock order, but we have a selection of ceramic and AlNiCo speakers to choose from at various prices. If we do not have the speaker you want in store, we will order it for you for no added cost.
There will be more ways to customize your order once our site is live, including the option for a Lombardo original "True Tweed" cabinet covering (available in Dogtooth, Bird's Eye, and more). I'll also explain our process in detail to show how we improve the quality of the product.

Tweed
Tweed amps were the beginning of what became the American sound. There's simply nothing better for getting that gritty, crunchy blues-rock tone that is a staple for so many musicians. That is why we make the most faithful recreation of the 50's era tweed amps available.
We believe too many guitarists have been unnecessarily priced out of an essential American tone... these are simple amps! So, we set out to make "boutique" quality amps that would cost less than even the big manufacturers.
